Protection Panels
When preventing unwanted entry from intruders, clearly, the most vulnerable parts of a home are windows and doors. Glass is easy to beak and security glass is better, but certainly not a true barrier. Even solid doors and superior locks can be broken open with a ramming or prying device. The worst is a combination of both: doors with glass panels. Those types of doors can have the glass broken, an arm reached in to open the lock, enabling the insurgent to easily walk right in.
Steel doors with steel frames and multiple locking points (in development) can eliminate unwanted entry through a doorway. Short of that and to protect windows, Protection Panels are a good option.
Essentially closeable shutters, protection panels attach to the exterior of your home and can be quickly locked shut to minimize the likelihood of intrusion. Functionally, there are three styles: traditional swing shut shutter style, lift into place panels, and slide out panels camoflouged under siding so that they are unseen when not in use..
Ideal for new construction, they can also be retrofitted to existing homes. Protection Panels are made to your specific needs for both protection and aesthetics. Consult with us for your ideal solution.
Note: Protection Panels have not been tested to meet hurricane intrusion standards and are not certified as such, but likely meet or exceed those specifications. Regardless, no claims are implied or made for that purpose.
