“Conspiracy Theory” in Your Neighborhood? Maybe

The phrase “conspiracy theory” is among the most abused in conversation today. That and a couple of other popular phrases are the laziest way to dismiss a topic or the person raising it. But, does a dismissal make it untrue?

There have been many conspiracies throughout history. For example:

  • The Tuskegee Syphilis Study
  • The Watergate Scandal
  • The Iran-Contra Affair
  • The Dreyfus Affair
  • The Reichstag Fire
  • The tobacco industry and the dangers of smoking

All of those went through the tactics of denial and subversion to ultimately be proven as true conspiracies hidden behind intentional deceit. So does refuting anything that seems unfathomable, scary, or threatening to your family, without real consideration of the possibility it’s real, make readiness sense? No, it does not. Keeping an open mind and investigating potential family threats of every nature is wise. Some are merely talk or propaganda. Some are real.

Here we present a simple exercise to help you.

Take a look around wooded areas in or near your neighborhood. Maybe they’re in an undeveloped area, in a park, or on private properties. Look for dead trees, either fallen or standing.

The nature of forests and the cycle of life is that trees die, they decay, and ultimately feed the soil and generate new life. Nothing to see there. However, the numbers of dead (and dying) trees seems to be unnaturally high nowadays—and probably for the last decade or so. Most won’t notice it. Most won’t be concerned. Yet, if it’s the case, it’s significant because every aspect of nature works in equilibrium with one another. If one element falls out of the cycle, all are affected. More importantly, trees are the most visible red flag, but by far, not the only indicator of things in nature being amiss.

Here are some examples of what to look for:

It’s unlikely you will see an entire dead forest range, but when viewed with a critical eye, it becomes easier to see the excessive level of dead trees in smaller wooded areas. Excluding trees destroyed in a fire or prolonged flood, a significant amount of lifeless trees does indicate that the area is likely on the way to extensive or complete demise.

If it’s caused by man-made effects, it has a lot of implications, especially since the only viably explained effect is addressed in the video below. The video shows a dying old growth forest and the forest death is completely abnormal and not the result of nature. It’s also not temporary. That means that the air, water, ground, and the ability to grow food, are at long-term dire risk.

More bluntly, it indicates that your family is in increasingly severe danger. A woodland ecosystem that fails is not in isolation, it fails as part of the extended ecosystem. The symptoms are everywhere in this country which indicate that the ecosystems of the US are failing in plain sight. Farm ecosystems and natural ecosystems are not separate, especially when artificially affected, so even if nature is not important to you, food, water, and air are.

Consequently, if you can find significant proof of dying trees (15% – 25%) in your neighborhood and areas around where you live, as others have where they live, you have solid proof that another “conspiracy theory” is probably not theory at all, that intentional man-made forces are severely harming nature. You may not be believed and you may be accused or labeled, but it doesn’t prove that the unnatural situation you are witnessing is a conspiracy theory or ridiculous idea.

If you are not preparing your loved ones for what the trees are telling you by having a readiness strategy that focuses on surviving as resources dwindle, particularly sufficient long-term edible food and long-term clean water, it needs to become your immediate focus. The sort of collapse that can come from ecosystem failure is very severe. When wild trees and plants won’t grow and thrive, crops won’t either. Limited plant inputs affect animal foods humans count on. And such a collapse can happen quickly enough that the scramble for food will fail most people. When humans go hungry, society is strained and can break.
